Anne Byrne

Predominantly a landscape painter, Anne Byrne works from her studio in Cheshire and works in an expressionist tradition. Her primary medium is oil paint, but she also uses mixed media to explore new territories and ways of visual communication. Anne is interested in capturing a tension in her work that combines the discipline of ‘careful observation’ with the use of mark-making as an expressive form. She embraces a reflective process that acknowledges context to deliver authenticity.
Derek Corlett

Much of Derek’s work is based in the urban environment. Working from snapshots and video stills (backed up by written notes and thumbnail sketches) his inspiration is found, most often, in the fleeting effects of light and movement.
Janine Pinion

Janine Pinion was born in Northern Ireland but moved to study Fine Art in Liverpool. Wirral has been her home since 1997. For the past decade she has painted exclusively in watercolour, enjoying its natural textures and elemental processes.
Luke Tarpey

Luke’s work is ultimately about imagination; creating a world to escape into, letting go of pre-conceived ideas and living in fantastical places where anything is possible. Constructing narratives and structures that celebrate our individuality and sense of place. The work can be both serious and playful but will always honour the transportive power of art as therapy.
