He is a member of the Manchester Academy of Fine Arts, and in 2012 after winning the Charles Oliver Award for painting, he was invited to judge the National Acrylic Painters Association annual exhibition. Lindsey ‘s creative practice explores the intricate relationship between printmaking and photography, investigating how light shapes both architectural and organic contexts through processes that themselves depend on light exposure. Working with photopolymer etching plates, she achieves rich textures and continuous tones. Lindsey embraces both the technical challenges and serendipitous nature of printmaking, creating works that honour traditional techniques while exploring modern technological possibilities.
