Gill studied Art and Contemporary Dance pursuing a career teaching Art & Design. In 2006 she read for an MA in Fine Art (Print) at Chester University and for the past twenty years has specialised in a variety of printmaking methods, exhibiting locally, nationally, and internationally.

Gill shares printmaking facilities at the Bluecoat with fellow printmakers and this has led to a residency and exciting collaborative projects that offer endless new possibilities in the medium of print. In 2019, Gill was Artist in Residence at the Neurological unit at the Walton Centre, this followed numerous workshops in mental health settings, co-ordinated by the Bluecoat Display Centre.

The theme of nature energises Gill’s work and aims to celebrate the resilience of the human spirit.
